A year on, what is the feeling in Paris?

Scarred by two attacks, the French capital has had to demonstrate great resilience to heal its wounds. « Threaten freedom and Paris get angry » goes the song by Mireille Mathieu. And the anger raged. Even if today Paris still mourns its victims, it is the time for reconstruction. Committed, creative and generous pioneers redouble their efforts to make the future less bleak. An urban and democratic media, a common code of practice, a wasteland turned into a unified village, a hybrid lab for the citizen: so many initiatives to make a more united and caring Paris. « Paris is sick: she will heal herself in her own way » as the song also goes.
